Overview

The Note-Taking Kit is a desktop organization system created by Grovemade and Mod Musings to make analog note-taking more useful and intentional.

The project began with research into how people capture, review, and store notes throughout the day. Grovemade studied my workspace, observed my process, and paired those insights with customer surveys to understand common pain points around desk clutter and note-taking.

Over two years, we moved from sketches and rough mockups to 3D models and physical prototypes, refining the forms, materials, and paper stock along the way.

Together, we designed a notepad, display rail, and vertical organizer that help people capture, review, and recall their notes. The project became an important bridge between my digital creative background and the physical product work I wanted to explore through Mod Musings.
